What is addiction?
Addiction is a chronic disease. It is a progressive, physical and psychological illness requiring professional intervention. Addiction is NOT a lack of willpower or a symptom of personal weakness.

What is recovery?
Recovery from addiction involves abstinence from mood-altering drugs and the restoring of one’s physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. Recovery from the disease of addiction can be very similar to recovery from other diseases that involve relapse (or the re-occurrence of symptoms). The majority of successful recoveries involve multiple episodes of treatment.

What does treatment look like at TCC?
