Stepping Stones

The Stepping Stone Outpatient Program is an OHMHAS grant-funded program, that provides Intensive Outpatient Services with supportive housing for adult women with co-occurring disorders. The Stepping Stones Outpatient Program specializes in treating pregnant women, women with children (ages 12 and under), and women reuniting with their children. We offer the following unique services: On-site Child Care, Pediatric Occupational Therapy for clients’ children and mothers, perinatal smoking cessation education by our own LPN, Specialized case management services, evidenced-based clinical services, and referrals to all needed outside resources to alleviate barriers for mothers in early recovery.

The Stepping Stone Outpatient Program also offers a community outpatient program for expectant mothers with children (ages 12 and under) struggling with co-occurring disorders. Our Mothers Care outpatient program offers the same unique services as our Stepping Stone Program. This program is designed for mothers who would not be able to reside in our Level three housing or who would need a lower level of care. Mothers Care outpatient is an incentive-based program to help mothers alleviate barriers and meet treatment goals by earning “Care Cash” for the Care Closet. The Care Closet is stocked with: diapers, diaper wipes, bottles, blankets, toys, baby clothes, toiletries, and household items.
